“Copper Owl” (November 2016) Is a handmade, limited edition, signed and professionally framed sculpture.

This piece was sculpted by myself in a polymer clay, moulded in silicon and then cast in polyurethane resin with a copper metal powder surface layer. It was darkened with black acrylic paint then rubbed with wire wool to expose the copper metal surface. It was finished with black wax to give it definition and shine. The Copper Owl was sculpted and cast in Ashwell, North Hertfordshire, England. It has been professionally framed by The Ashwell Gallery, who frame to conservation standards as defined by the Fine Art Trade Guild. The frame is beech wood. The background card colour is a warm cream.
